ISO Environmental and Quality Initiatives
Environmental management system
We will maximize harmony with the environment and promote the reduction of environmental impact in all product processing processes.
- ISO9001 acquisition
- On December 7, 2001, the Group was certified as a Parker Processing Co., Ltd. Group [Parker Processing, Tokai Parkerizing (currently Shizuoka Plant), Oita Parkerizing, and Parker Processing Vietnam] by shifting from ISO9002:1994 to ISO9001:2000, expanding, upgrading, and integrating them.
- To acquire ISO14001
- On May 31, 2004, based on the certification of the Kawagoe Plant, which was already certified, we received ISO14001 1996 certification based on the examination by the Parker Processing Co., Ltd. Group [Head Office, Surface Technical Research Center, Kawasaki Plant, Chiba Plant, Hamamatsu Plant, Toyohashi Plant, Furuichi Plant, Kadoma Plant, Tokai Parker Rising Co., Ltd. (currently Shizuoka Plant), and Oita Parker Rising Co., Ltd.], and we obtained certification for ISO14001 1996.
- ISO9001:2015 Regular inspection and transition inspection conformity
- On November 24, 2017, the Parker Process Co., Ltd. Group [Parker Machining, Oita Parkerizing, Komatsu Parkerizing] received a review stating that it was compliant with the transition from ISO9001:2008 to ISO9001:2015.
- ISO14001:2015 Regular inspection and transition inspection conformity
- On November 25, 2017, the Parker Process Co., Ltd. Group [Parker Machining, Oita Parkerizing, Komatsu Parkerizing] received a review stating that it was compliant with the renewal and transition from ISO14001:2004 to ISO14001:2015.
[ISO14001 Environmental Policy]
The Parker Processing Co., Ltd. Group will conduct business activities that contribute to the conservation of the global environment as a leader in the surface processing industry under the management philosophy of "management that respects people and the environment."
Establish an environmental management system to strongly promote these business activities, and actively make continuous improvements.
- Develop and provide society with surface processing technologies that reduce environmental impact.
- Comply with laws, regulations, agreements, customer requirements, etc. related to environmental conservation, and establish and manage voluntary standards.
- Continuously promote activities to reduce environmental impact, such as energy and resource conservation, waste reduction, and resource recycling.
- Prevent environmental pollution by thoroughly implementing measures to prevent pollution of the atmosphere, water, soil, and ecosystems.
- Strive to maintain good communication with local communities and harmonize with local environmental conservation activities.
- This policy is to ensure that all employees and everyone working for us are fully aware of it, and to make the workplace safer and more comfortable with the participation of all employees.
- The environmental policy is made public upon the request of the stakeholders.
